Do I need any artistic skill?
None. The tiles are made to fit together in specific ways, so the geometry does the work. If you can do a jigsaw, you can do this.
How long does it take?
Most people finish both coasters in 2–3 hours. Arranging the pattern usually takes longer than expected, in a good way.
What’s in the box?
98 air-dry clay tiles in 16 shapes · 6 acrylic paints, mixed in our studio · 2 wooden coaster bases (12×12cm) · 2 brushes · Glue & gloss varnish · Illustrated instruction guide (with QR code to the video tutorial).
Can I plan my design before the kit arrives?
Yes. The Coaster Designer shows designs for each pattern in the paints your kit includes, and lets you save your favourites.
Are the coasters heat-resistant?
The gloss varnish makes them fine for hot drinks. Wipe clean with a damp cloth; they aren’t dishwasher safe.
Is there a video?
Yes. The guide in the box has a QR code to our step-by-step video tutorial.
How long does delivery take?

How do gift cards work?
They’re emailed straight after payment with a printable card. The recipient enters the code at checkout. Single use, valid for 24 months.
A piece is missing or broken.
Sorry about that. Email info@alhambramosaic.com with your order number and a photo, and we’ll send replacements free.
What language are the instructions in?
The printed booklet comes in English or Spanish: you choose when you check out. The video tutorial is easy to follow whatever language you speak.
